Gawd, I have had alot to say n’est pas ???

So, this is my 100th post, and to celebrate, tradition dictates that I post 100 things about myself.

1. My birth name is Marie Therese.
2. I was named after a nun who taught my birth mother.
3. One thing my grandmother requested was that I be placed with a family who were practicing Roman Catholics.
4. I was placed in my adoptive family when I was 10 days old.
5. They adopted me because my birthday is the same as my adoptive father.
6. When I turned 21, he turned 50.
7. I met my birth mother when I was 20.
8. My birth father committed suicide one week after my 2nd birthday.
9. My birth mother met my birth father’s family for the first time at my 40th birthday.
10. My adoptive parents refused to attend my 40th birthday.
11. I have 4 children living.
12. I consider myself the mother of 7.
13. I love reading.
14. I don’t read enough.
15. I have always loved to read mystery novels the most.
16. I love knitting.
17. I love sewing.
18. I love scrapbooking.
19. I love cross stitch.
20. My first scrapbooking attempt was a Memory book for Finbar.
21. I think of Finbar everyday.
22. I love maths.
23. I love languages.
24. I love music.
25. I have been a fan of Tim and Neil Finn since I was 10.
26. I met them when I was 16.
27. I went to 3 of the 5 final concerts in Auckland.
28. I like to perve.
29. I have a very strict look, but don’t touch policy.
30. I like to flirt, but would never take it any further.
31. When my husband proposed, he was the 4th proposal I had.
32. He was the third I accepted.
33. We married one year to the day of meeting.
34. I wore purple.
35. Purple is my favourite colour.
36. I think my husband is the most intelligent person I know.
37. When I was young, I wanted to be a doctor.
38. Then I changed my mind and wanted to be a teacher.
39. I still want to be a teacher.
40. I have made enquiries into long distance learning.
41. I haven’t told my family as I don’t need the pressure.
42. My long term goal is to open a school for autistic children.
43. I I do not like how the education system manages non average children.
44. I put 150% into whatever it is I do.
45. I detest failure in myself.
46. I don’t mind other people’s flaws, but hate my own.
47. People love being around me and I don’t know why.
48. I do not see myself in the positive light others do.
49. I like order.
50. I like even numbers.
51. The volume has to be on an even number and I feel ill when I see others put the volume on an odd number.
52. I love rainbows. I hear God talk to me when I see one.
53. I prefer to be spiritual then religious.
54. We called our 5 acre Lifestyle Block Tir na Nog.
55. We named it in memory of Finbar.
56. We bought it because I sensed his presence there.
57. Christians have felt angels here.
58. Pagans have felt the spirits of those who watch over us.
59. Whatever your truth is, there is something magic about this place.
60. I am completely at peace here and resent having to leave.
61. I hear God in the trees.
62. I don’t usually share 52-61as people might think I am nuts.
63. I think I am nuts.
64. I don’t like Christians who tell you off, and then say ‘But I’m telling you this in love.’
65. I don’t like Christians who try to get you to do something and say that ‘God told them to tell me.’
66. I think God can talk to me direct.
67. The people at my old church said they accepted me but were always trying to change me.
68. The people at my new church say they accept me and leave it to God to change me.
69. I think my new church rocks !!!!!
70. I enjoy serving there.
71. Even though I knew it was time to leave my old church and I was unhappy there, I was still sad to go.
72. I look at all my animals and wonder how they would taste.
73. I will be in a situation and think of a song that goes with it.
74. I like to make people laugh.
75. I like to be silly as I have had enough sadness in my life.
76. I can be too deep and intense at times.
77. I watched my first homekill and was not grossed out.
78. I kept the innards so I could touch them and see what they felt like.
79. I said I was keeping them for the kids as a homeschooling lesson.
80. It is times like that, I wonder if I should have been a doctor.
81. Or I could do autopsies. As long as I didn’t have to do children.
82. After seeing Finbar die, I have no fear of death.
83. Since Finbar’s death, I have had an acute awareness of the spirit world.
84. On the day of Finbar’s funeral, I had a vision of how he would look around 13 years old.
85. A week ago, Celtic Lad gave me a look, and it was like the vision I had. He is almost 10.
86. If my husband were to die young, I would not remarry.
87. I have one tattoo, which was my 40th present to me.
88. I used to think tatts were awful.
89. I now see them as body art.
90. Well, most of them.
91. I was really depressed to turn 30.
92. I think it was because I was not in the space I was meant to be in.
93. I LOVE being 40.
94. I love chick flicks.
95. They HAVE to have happy endings.
96. If they don’t, I get depressed for days.
97. I have been asked several times to write a book about my life.
98. I can’t see why.
99. I have written one chapter.
100. There were things I wrote and then deleted here.
