Celtic Lad and Celtic Dingo made a very simple bird feeder the other day.
All that is needed is the following:
A plastic disposable cup
A length of string
Wild bird seed
Animal fat (we used beef)
Pour the seed into the bottom of the plastic cup
Add string, hanging the end over the side of the cup
Melt the fat and pour into the plastic cup. (make sure it’s not TOO hot)
Let it set
Once it’s set, ease out of plastic container and hang it out for the birds to enjoy. We didn’t have enough string, so I knotted the two together and hung it on a nail.

If you try it let me know !!!
They look yummy bet the birds are going to love them!

The birds have been having a field day and I am looking forward to making more.
P.S. Kells, I never said my idea was an original.
